Fire District 26, Community Wildfire Open House, Wednesday, June 13th, 5pm

District 26 Community Wildfire Open House!

Fire District 26 is developing its first Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) to strengthen the foundation of collaboration and cooperation in wildfire prevention, mitigation, resilience, and response.  The CWPP identifies shared community values at ristk from wildfire and outlines actions community members can take to become more resillent to the growing wildfire threat. Join us at an open house to learn about and review:

  • The draft CWPP
  • Maps of wildfire hazards
  • Strategies to develop and maintain wildfire resistant landscapes
  • Wildfire response resources including District 26’s brush trucks

When: Wednesday, June 13, 2018
Time: 5pm till 7PM
Where: Snohomish County Fire District 26, Station 54, 42013 SR2, Gold Bar
What: Learn about wildfires, meet with the partners, get your questions answered, and provide your feedback.  Light refreshments will be provided.
