Animal Complaints

If you are experiencing or witnessing a life-threatening animal-related emergency, call 9-1-1.

Gold Bar Animal Control Officer investigates animal complaints that occur within the city limits of Gold Bar only. Complaints regarding the following issues may be made here. You may also file a complaint by calling 360.793.1101. Please note, calls received after business hours, on weekends or holidays will be returned on the next business day.

Dangerous dogs
Animal welfare or cruelty
Dog bites or attacks
Stray and abandoned animals
Sick or injured animals
Livestock at large
Leash law violations

If you live outside the city limits of Gold Bar, please contact the Snohomish County Animal Control.

Dog Impounds

Dog(s) that are impounded in the city limits of Gold Bar are held at our city kennel and/or are sent to the Everett Animal Shelter. To verify whether or not your dog(s) have been impounded by Gold Bar Animal Control, please contact Animal Control Officer Denise Beaston at 360.793.1101 or email animal control.

Animal License

Dog Licenses are due no later than January 31 of each year. Cats are not required to be licensed in the City of Gold Bar, but tags are available for purchase.  Dog License Application

Please remember to be a responsible pet owner and spay/neuter your pets.

The City of Gold Bar does not enforce or respond to loose or feral cat issues.
