City Government

The City of Gold Bar is a Mayor-Council City Government.

Most cities in Washington have this form of government, which calls for an elected mayor and an elected city council.

The Mayor is elected separately from the council.  The Mayor may have significant administrative and budgetary authority.  The City Council is elected and maintains legislative powers.

The City Council meets at 7:00 pm in the Gold Bar City Hall Council Chambers on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
