Gold Dust Days Festival, 10 year anniversary!
Date: July 21, 22 and 23, 2017
The Gold Dust Days Heritage festival pays tribute to the rich western heritage of Gold Bar.
Friday, July 21
3PM: Gold Dust Street Fair opens. Visit the expanded street fair, featuring local, mostly handcrafted items as well as commercial products of all kinds. Do some early Christmas, birthday and anniversary gift buying. Food vendors will be serving up some tasty treats!
4-7PM: Bicycle Decorating. Free and fun for all kids. Hosted by the Red Hat Ladies and Gold Dust Days Royalty.
4:45-5:45PM: “Dakota Neuman” performs fun, young country music.
6-7PM: “Tarnished Brass Band.”
7PM: Peddle Parade. Decorated bikes will parade around the school.
7:15PM: Selena Dance Academy performance.
Saturday & Sunday ALL DAY Activities
At Park on HWY 2: Hay Wagon Rides, Civil War Encampment, Gold Bar Farmers Market.
At Gold Bar Elementary School: Pony Rides, Face Painting, Art Wall , Sack Races, Fire District Smoke House, Bouncy House, Games and more!
Saturday, July 22
7:30 AM: Pancake Breakfast, hosted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), on 3rd Street. $5 suggested donation.
10 AM: Grand Parade, featuring Grand Marshals-the Gold Bar Farmers Market Crew.
10AM: Street Fair, featuring handcrafted arts and crafts.
10 AM-3PM: Classic & Street Rod Car Show
11AM: Gold Dust Days Royalty performance.
Noon-4PM: “Energy” Rock & Roll for the whole family!
Noon: Valve Cover Races and Slow Drags at the Car Show.
2PM: Water Ball contest for kids, hosted by Fire District 26.
3:30 PM: Car Show winners announced and paraded.
4-8 PM: The Motors Rock & roll Street Dance, with live music from the 50’s to today.
Sunday, July 23
10AM – 3PM: Street Fair, featuring handcrafted arts and crafts. Also enjoy an Auto Swap Meet.
10AM: Community Church Service. Everyone welcome! Non-denomination service.
12-1PM: “Voices of the Village.” A music group of all ages and abilities. Fun music for the whole family.
1:30PM: “Sam Inman & Susan Otis” perform folk/gospel music for the soul.
