DESCRIPTION:Classification and Management Planning continues for Wallace Falls State Park \nIn late 2017 the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission began a public process that will lead to a long-term plan for Wallace Falls State Park. \nThis planning process\, also known as Classification and Management Planning or CAMP\, includes four stages: \n\nIdentify issues and concerns of park stakeholders\nExplore alternative approaches to address identified issues\nPrepare preliminary recommendations to address issues or suggest a realistic compromise\nPropose final recommendations for formal agency and Commission adoption\n\nWe are currently at the third stage of the CAMP process.  At this meeting State Parks will present preliminary recommendations to address issues identified by park stakeholders including day-use and camping opportunities\, parking\, overall visitor experiences\, natural resources\, recreation areas and trails and other topics of interest to the community. \nTo get your input a public workshop will be held from: \n6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday July 18\, 2018 \nat the Sultan City Hall Community Room\, 319 Main Street\, Sultan\, WA \nOpportunities for public comment will be available at the meeting\, \nand may also be provided through the Wallace Falls planning webpage at http://parks.state.wa.us/1074/Wallace-Falls-Planning \nor by contacting Randy Kline\, Parks Planner\, at (360) 902-8632 or \nrandy.kline@parks.wa.gov
