Micro Chips and license tags are important forms of pet identification that allow owners and lost pets to reunite quickly, reducing the number of lost pets taken to shelters and the associated costs. Thanks to the support of volunteer veterinarians and licensed veterinary technicians, approximately 3,000 pets have benefited from the free Microchip Clinic program since 2003. Dogs and cats of Snohomish County residents are eligible to participate in the free Microchip Clinic. Cats must be in a carrier and dogs must be on a leash.
