OBTAINING PUBLIC RECORDS
The City encourages that all requests for public records be made in writing on a Public Records Request form, which is available at Gold Bar City Hall and or on the city website. Requests may be submitted in person, by mail, fax, email, or orally (see section regarding “Oral Requests” in the link below). Mail, email, and faxes will be considered received on the date the form is stamped “received”, not on the date sent.

Any person wishing to request access to public records of the City, or seeking assistance in making such a request, should follow the procedures set forth in these Rules and contact the following Public Records Officer of the City to submit such a request or to obtain assistance in making such a request.

Requests are handled directly by the City office staff.
RULES OF PROCEDURE
All procedures are in accordance with the Public Records act (RCW 42.56), the Model Rules (WAC 44-14), and Case Law.

The City works in accordance with Resolutions 21-05A, 25-09,16-04 and 16-08, (copies of which are available upon request.)
